Friday the 13th - The TV series

This is the late-80s horror anthology that borrowed a famous film name and then went somewhere else entirely. No masked killer, no lake. Instead: cursed antiques, an inherited shop, and two cousins hunting down objects that ruin whoever touches them. It ran three seasons, and Norwegian schedules have kept it alive as a late-night fixture ever since. The formula is rigid by design. New episode, new artifact, new poor soul who ignores the warning. Some weeks that's genuinely creepy, some weeks it's pure cheese, and the show never quite knows which it's being. That's the charm. If you want the best entry point, watch Friday the 13th - The TV series live in the original English audio with Norwegian subtitles; the dubbing flattens the dialogue. Series tv Norway treats it as cult filler, so slots move around. Check listings before you commit to a night. It's dated, it's uneven, and it's still more fun than most modern horror television.
