Waldivision Internacional is the kind of channel that feels like it's programming for a small town rather than a nation. The daytime block leans heavily on telenovelas, the kind where every scene is shot in soft focus, and the acting is broad enough to pull in viewers who don't need realism, just drama. Local production values vary: some segments look like they were shot in someone's living room. That's not necessarily a knock. The 6pm news bulletin is the most credible thing on the schedule, more straight-ahead reporting than the tabloid style you'd find on bigger Honduran networks.
