Tvivu indexes live TV channels that broadcast publicly on the open web and gives you a player to watch them in. It stores no video and serves none: a listing is a pointer to a stream the broadcaster already publishes.

Channel data is aggregated from open community catalogues, mainly iptv-org, Free-TV and Famelack, plus free ad-supported platforms that publish their own line-ups, such as Samsung TV Plus. Each source is credited on the attribution page. Duplicates are merged, dead entries drop out, and a rights holder can have a listing removed through the takedown form.
Sources are checked on a schedule and ordered by what last worked, so the one most likely to play is tried first, and a channel with several sources falls back rather than failing outright.
Two limits are worth stating plainly. Many channels are geo-locked by the broadcaster and will not play outside their own country, whatever happens at our end. And a live stream can disappear between one check and your click, so a channel that opened yesterday may not open today.
Nothing, and there is no account to create. Running costs are covered by ads. There is no paid tier, so nothing is held back behind one.
Broken stream, wrong metadata, or a channel you want listed: contact has the right address for each. Rights holders should use the takedown form, which is read daily.
