If you're learning the language, VTV7 is a hidden weapon: spoken clearly at a deliberate pace. News bulletins are brief and stilted, but they're not the draw. For a channel labeled 'general,' it's surprisingly focused on being useful. When you watch VTV7 live, the pacing feels slower than cable news, more like a lecture hall than a studio.
