South Park: Kyle Collection

South Park: Kyle Collection isn't a channel so much as a curatorial stunt: a 24/7 feed of episodes built around Kyle Broflovski, the show's perpetually exasperated conscience. The obvious consequence is you'll hit "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe" and "Casa Bonita" more often than any sane schedule would allow, and lesser Kyle material gets shuffled in to pad the rotation. That's fine. The character works because Matt Stone and Trey Parker use him as the rare voice of reason that still gets humiliated, and the best Kyle episodes ("The List," "Imaginationland," anything with his mother) hold up better than the shock-value ones. As General tv Canada programming, it's a strange pick for a linear dial, but Canadian broadcasters have always treated South Park as filler with a following. No news, no sports, no weather. Just the same handful of episodes looping until you know the beats cold. For anyone nostalgic for Comedy Central's golden run, that's the appeal.
