Scare Tactics

Scare Tactics isn't subtle. It's a hidden-camera prank show that thrives on absurd setups and the moment a mark realizes the monster isn't a guy in a suit. The comedy comes from the build-up: fake paranormal investigations, bogus science experiments, and the host's deadpan intro before everything goes sideways. As a Canadian comedy export, it sits in a weird spot: too staged for reality fans, too real for scripted purists. But that's the charm. You'll laugh at the victim's panic, then at yourself for enjoying it. The pacing is ruthless, sketches rarely overstay, and the celeb hosts (think Stephen Baldwin or Tracy Morgan in early seasons) add a layer of B-movie glee. If you want Comedy tv Canada that doesn't pretend to be smart, watch Scare Tactics online. It's junk food, but the good kind. Just don't expect subtlety. There isn't any.
