MTV Catfish is Spain's weirdest reality channel, it's built around one show (the original Catfish: The TV Show) and then fills the rest of the schedule with similarly voyeuristic, low-stakes documentaries about people lying to each other online. The channel's name is misleading: it's not all Catfish, but the curation feels like someone said 'what if every show were about identity deception?' You'll find Spanish-dubbed episodes of True Life, Unlocking the Truth, and random MTV specials where someone's catfishing a parent or a friend. The Spanish dub is fine but not great, the voice actors clearly don't match the energy of the original subjects. Morning blocks are almost entirely reruns of Catfish (seasons 4-7 on repeat), which gets dull fast. Late evenings offer fresher content, sometimes premieres of newer MTV reality. Production values are cheap, but that's kind of the point. If you want to watch MTV Catfish live and you're into guilty-pleasure reality about digital deceit, this channel delivers. Just don't expect anything ambitious or well-produced. It's a niche channel, and it knows it.
