Pluto TV's Live Music channel is exactly what it says on the tin, a nonstop feed of concert footage and music videos, heavy on classic rock and pop nostalgia. No DJs, no countdown shows, no filler. It just rolls from one performance to the next, which is either liberating or monotonous depending on your patience for a three-hour Eagles deep cut sequence. The picture quality varies source to source, some clips look like they were ripped from a 2005 DVD, others are crisp HD. But for a free streaming channel, the curation is surprisingly solid. You'll get proper live sets from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, with occasional modern indie acts sprinkled in. If you want to watch Live Music live and leave your phone alone for a while, it's a decent background companion. The lack of ads is a blessing, short breaks, not the commercial avalanche you'd get on some other FAST services. Not a replacement for a proper music subscription, but for casual listening while cooking or cleaning, it does the job. Entertainment tv United States doesn't get much simpler than this.
