FIFA+

FIFA+ is an odd beast, a streaming service pretending to be a TV channel, and in Austria it lands in the General category because nobody knew where else to put it. The heart of the service is the archive: classic World Cup matches from the 1970s onwards, full 90-minute replays with original commentary. The documentary side is surprisingly good, especially the long-form player profiles that break the PR-friendly mold. But the live matches are sparse, mostly lower-tier friendlies and youth tournaments that even hardcore fans struggle to care about. The interface is clunky; searching by year or tournament often returns inconsistent results. Still, for the price (free), it's a treasure trove for football historians. The German-language presentation is spotty, some content has German dubbing, some only English with subtitles. That inconsistency hurts the watchability. If you're expecting a polished General tv Austria experience, you'll be disappointed. But if you want to watch FIFA+ online for nostalgia or research, it's worth a bookmark.
