Anger Management

Anger Management was supposed to be Charlie Sheen's comeback vehicle after his very public meltdown, and somehow it ran for 100 episodes despite being aggressively mediocre. The premise, a baseball player turned anger management therapist, gives Sheen the chance to play a slightly self-aware version of himself, but the jokes land about as often as a wild pitch. Supporting cast does heavy lifting: Selma Blair brings actual comic timing, and the group therapy scenes occasionally crackle with real irritation. But the laugh track is too loud, the writing too safe. You don't watch Anger Management live for originality; you watch because Sheen's mugging is weirdly watchable, like a car crash you've already seen the aftermath of. If you're nostalgic for early-2010s network sitcoms with recycled gags and a two-camera setup, this channel delivers exactly that. To watch Anger Management online is to accept a show that never quite earned its hundred-episode order, but at least it's consistent.
