What separates &flix from its rivals is the sheer volume: you'll rarely wait more than a few hours before another tentpole rolls around. The Bollywood blockbusters that pop up during prime-time feel like padding, but they keep the channel from being a pure dub factory. Visual quality on the feed is standard 576i, which is fine for cable but looks soft on larger screens. If you want to watch &flix online, the stream holds up well enough for background viewing. For a channel that doesn't pretend to be highbrow, &flix knows its job, keep the popcorn coming, let the explosions do the talking.
