As a general TV United States channel, AMP occupies an odd middle ground. It's not trying to be a prestige cable network, but it's also not bottom-of-the-dial local access. The daytime block feels like a time capsule: syndicated sitcoms, courtroom shows, and the kind of talk shows that have been running since the 90s. The picture is clean, the pacing is predictable, and that's partly the charm. You know exactly what you're getting at 3pm, and sometimes that's enough. The prime-time hours drift into reality formats and true-crime reenactments, which is where the channel actually gives you something to argue with. The production values are low-budget, the narration is overheated, and the reenactments look shot on camcorders. It's not good television in the traditional sense.
