VTV News is not a national news channel trying to do Gujarat, it's a Gujarat-specific operation, and that distinction matters. The morning bulletins prioritize state politics, local elections, and business from Ahmedabad's textile markets. The midday news cycle feels more relaxed, with soft stories and community events. It's a News tv India feed but with a lens that magnifies Surat's diamond district over Delhi's corridors of power. The live stream is stable, important for diaspora viewers who want to watch VTV News online and stay connected to the state. The evening debate show? Occasionally heated, but generally more polite than the Hindi equivalents. This isn't a channel for national headlines; it's a channel for Gujarat's headlines. If you're following the state's political moves or just want a calmer news experience, VTV News delivers that without the sensory overload of national bulletins.
