Sanctuary is a German series channel that leans into genre television rather than the procedural comfort food most German networks default to. The schedule skews toward sci-fi, fantasy, and darker drama, and the German-language presentation means you're getting dubbed or homegrown productions rather than the original English audio. That's not a knock. German dubbing is a craft of its own, and for a lot of viewers here it's the default way to watch anything from abroad. What stands out is the curation. This isn't a channel padding its grid with endless reruns of the same three shows. There's an actual point of view: cult favorites, imported genre hits, and a slower rollout of episodes that gives a series room to breathe. Don't expect glossy promo packages or celebrity-hosted companion shows. Expect a stripped-back presentation, a clean EPG, and a lineup that assumes you're there for the story. For anyone hunting for Series tv Germany actually gets right, it's worth a look. Watch Sanctuary online via Tvivu and see if the tone fits your taste.
