My TV operates as one of Bangladesh's quieter general entertainment channels, not the loudest in the room, but its programming sticks to what works. The afternoon block leans heavily on Bengali soaps, the kind with melodramatic music cues and tearful close-ups, while prime time shifts to talk shows where hosts spar over local politics and celebrity gossip. News bulletins here are brief and not the channel's strongest suit; they feel like filler between the real content. What sets My TV apart is its commitment to older Bengali films on weekends, grainy prints with original audio that rival channels rarely touch. The channel's production values are modest compared to the big three, but that gives it an unpolished charm. For viewers who want a slice of everyday Bangla entertainment without the hype, My TV delivers a reliable schedule. You can watch My TV online via Tvivu to catch the live feed, especially the Friday movie slot which attracts a loyal following. If you're curious about General tv Bangladesh beyond the mainstream, this channel offers a window into a more laid-back side of local television.
