Imedi TV is Georgia's largest general channel, and the production polish is undeniable. Morning programming runs a chaotic mix of lifestyle tips and political debate, it's a strange blend but holds audience attention. Prime time belongs to domestic dramas and talk shows, all in Georgian. The 21:00 main newscast is the channel's flagship; it's well-produced but editorial decisions seem to favor government narratives. The anchors read with gravitas, but dissenting voices are rare. Commercial breaks feel longer than on competitor Rustavi 2, yet sponsorship deals keep the channel floating. That's the reality with Imedi TV live: high production value with questionable journalistic freedom. Still, for anyone wanting to understand Georgian society, watch Imedi TV online, it reflects the mainstream taste and political climate perfectly. It's not alternative media, it's the establishment. General tv Georgia at its most polished and pervasive. Catch the feed on Tvivu.
