DY 365 competes in a crowded Indian regional-news market, and it's carved out a niche as the louder, faster option among Assamese news channels. The 7pm prime-time bulletin is the one to watch, it's where field reporters actually get airtime over studio anchors. The channel leans hard into crime and political confrontations; expect dramatic reenactments and heated studio debates that sometimes teeter into grandstanding. You won't find the measured pacing of Doordarshan here. This is news as adrenaline. For anyone outside Assam, the coverage of local governance, panchayat elections, flood updates, tea-garden issues, offers a genuine window into the state's daily rhythms that national Hindi or English channels ignore. Production values are middle-tier: the graphics feel a few years behind, and the ticker is crammed with too many feeds. But the editorial instinct is sharp. When a story breaks in the Northeast, DY 365 live often reacts faster than its peers. If you want to understand Assam's news agenda, and don't mind a bit of volume with your headlines, this is the feed to watch online.
