Pluto TV's Detective Conan channel is a Spanish-dubbed time capsule, endless episodes of the boy detective solving murders that somehow never age. The loop is tight: maybe two dozen episodes rotate, which means you'll see the same black-silhouette killer three times in a week. That's fine if you're dipping in and out; less fine if you're marathoning. The dubbing is solid, serviceable Latin American Spanish, no jarring recasts, but the pacing of the original anime hasn't aged gracefully. Each mystery drags through red herrings and slow zooms that modern kids might find tedious. Still, for anyone who wants to watch Detective Conan online without hunting for subtitles, this is the cleanest option in the US. Pluto's ad breaks are mercifully short, and the channel runs 24/7 with no scheduled interruptions. Animation tv United States rarely offers this much pure procedural anime aimed at a younger crowd. It's not great television, the repetition kills it, but as background comfort food for Spanish-speaking families, it works.
